DSWD Regional Office IV-A (CALABARZON) Staff undergoes NCAF Leadership Journey

On March 9 to 10, 2018, twenty-eight (28) personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Regional Office IV-A-CALABARZON (DSWD-RO) underwent the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation (NCAF) Leadership Journey. The two-day seminar was held at the National Training School for Boys (NTSB) compound in Tanay, Rizal.  Here, the participants were given time to reflect, pray, and share their individual experiences and mission-stories.

Ms. Dinky Soliman, former DSWD Secretary, dropped by NTSB to share some words and stories with the participants. Ms. Dinky encouraged the participants to continue passionately serving their less privileged Filipino brothers and sisters, but reminded them that it’s okay to rest every once in a while. Modules on reflection and integrity were given to the participants and they were given opportunities to share their insights as a group.

The participants ended their Leadership Journey by renewing their commitment as DSWD-RO staff and identifying concrete steps they can take to better serve their customers.
