Mr. Rapa Lopa launches his book “To Love Another Day: The Memoirs of Cory Aquino”

Last Tuesday, November 27 2019, NCAF President and Executive Director Mr. Rafael C. Lopa launched his book “To Love Another Day”, a compilation of previously unpublished memoirs of President Corazon Aquino, at the Solution Space co-working area of the JCS Building.

The launch was aptly highlighted with an offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass presided by Fr. Manoling Francisco, SJ. The NCAF Music Ministry served as choir for the mass, a solemn remembrance of the martyrdom of Ninoy Aquino on the day of his birth which coincidentally fell upon the Catholic Church’s celebration of Red Wednesday in honor of those who have suffered and died in the name of faith.

In his speech, Mr. Lopa read an excerpt from the newly-launched book and touched on the events that inspired him to arrive at the penultimate goal of producing the book. He also honored the memory of Ninoy & Cory, and how they selflessly lived their lives for the Filipino people.
