NCA Online Leadership Journey for Partners at Project Pearls

A trademark of the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Leadership Journey is to ardently care for carers- and for many years now, an active partnership with Project Pearls has been a pursuit of this goal. This year, in the face of the COVID-19 Pandemic gripping our world, an Online edition was borne out of the need to continue a much-needed mission: bringing Ninoy and Cory’s leadership ideals of Prayer, Discernment and Self-sacrifice to different sectors of society.

Last Saturday, November 7, the two ideas were once more united for an NCA Online Leadership Journey session for Project Pearls Directors, staff and volunteers from all over the Philippines and the USA. With the facilitation of NCAF Program Director Mr. Jampao Reyes, participants were invited to imbibe the precepts of loving servant leadership in their lives as nation builders. Through a recollection of experiences, shared and as individuals, throughout the last few months, realizations of the gift of camaraderie within families and work groups came to light.

Ms. Melissa Villa, Founder and Executive Director of Project Pearls, put it excellently when she shared about the tireless efforts of volunteers, and the graces that abounded for the organization’s programs even in the face of the tempest- that God never abandons- He is always there. He is always a hand to hold when there seems to be no one else; and when all else fails, He always comes through.
