NCAF Conducts NCA Leadership Journey for Third Batch of CICL Participants from NTSB

On June 29-30, 2018, fifty-one (51) Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) underwent the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Leadership Journey (NCALJ) at the National Training School for Boys (NTSB) compound in Tanay, Rizal. The participants experienced modules on self-reflection, prayer, and leadership based on Ninoy and Cory’s own brand of spiritual-leadership.

Light of Jesus Family speaker and missionary Niko Capucion was also able to share with them his testimony and talked about the love and mercy of God. He encouraged the participants to remember the moments of love in their lives and the people who have cared for them, and use these as motivation to remain in the path of growth and reformation.

The two-day retreat-seminar ended with the participants sharing their reflections and insights with one another. They also expressed their gratitude to NCAF and wished that the program could be conducted to more youth, not just those within NTSB, but also those outside who continue to need guidance in their lives.
