AQUINO CENTER

AQUINO CENTER

aquino-center_imgThe Aquino Center and Museum was established by the Board of Trustees of the then Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. Foundation together with equally committed individuals to enshrine and continuously learn from the valuable lessons of our people’s struggle to restore freedom, democracy, and genuine development.  It was formally inaugurated on August 21, 2001, the eighteenth anniversary of Ninoy Aquino’s martyrdom.

Its main feature is the Museum, which houses photos and memorabilia of Ninoy and Cory Aquino.  It also chronicles the Filipino’s proud recent history: their fight to restore democracy and their shining example of People Power that inspired the world.

The Center also features conference and event facilities that provide an inspiring setting for leadership formation, training, and team building activities; fellowship among corporations, government agencies, and non-government organizations; and other social gatherings.
