NCA Leadership Journey goes Online for Youth Leaders of the Diocese of Kalookan

Even as the pandemic continues to rage through all aspects of daily life, the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation carries on its duty to uplift lives through the ideals of Ninoy and Cory of Prayer, Discernment and Self-sacrifice.

Last Saturday, September 26, the Online Edition of the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Leadership Journey reached the homes of thirty seven Youth Leaders from the Mission Stations of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kalookan. With participants ranging from 13 all the way to 26 years old, everyone was able to share their views of the trying times we live in: from differing points of view, all in the eyes of those who are to inherit the world we live in.

One participant could not have put it better when he emphasized the importance of the Youth’s active participation in Church ministry in times such as these. A notable consensus among the participants was that the lifeblood of the Church lies in the hands of those who are most able to act in strength amidst an environment of so much impending fear. This truth rings true in a very palpable way today, and is a truth lived by the Youth of the Kalookan Diocese Mission Stations.
